my musicteacher is totally on germany's side, because he thinks that the us are making "a huge mistake" if we go into iraq, because it would only kill either iraqi civilians or americans or other people (like british soldiers). and he said that he believes that the long-term effect of the war would be an increase of terrorism. and my social studies teacher thinks quite the same. she says it would be the second war the united states would enter as an agressor and the first one was hardly a draw...so she doesnt want the us to cause a war. and she also said that she thinks that many republicans might want to go to iraq. and i can highly recommend the post uli made yesterday containing a link to a very interesting article!

yes, im prewtty tired right now because we had techmeeting (buehnenbauertreff) the last two days and we've been doing such things as carrying a dentist's chair in the basement and moving stageweights. so this is pretty exausting. and it lasted til nine and after this i had to do my homework til 24.00-1.00. so im really tired right now. but thank god, tommorow is friday! so i hope i will have lots of sleep on the we...anyways, how is fall break?

hallo, heute haben wir eine besonders gute frage: How does the average American see the conflict between the US and Germany concerning the Irak?
das is doch ma ne schoene frage. zuallererst stellt sich die frage nach der definition des durchschnittsamerikaners. wenn du ihn als leser des national review (ziemlich republikanisch angehauchtes blatt) definierst, kannst du seine meinung hier nachlesen. und die is nich grad gut...wenn du ihn aber nicht so definierst, hab ich ein problem...weil wir bis jetzt so in der schule und so nur ueber den iraqkrieg itself geredet haben. werd dass aber morgen mal mit meinem musiklehrer (der beste lehrer i had ever!!!!!!!!) und in meiner US history and government klass ansprechen und dann hier die ergebnisse kundtun. und ich hab bis jetz zwei "no war on iraq" signs gesehn...dass is pretty lustig mit dem entusiasmus der leute hier, in syracuse sind grad elections fuer den city court und da stelln sich halt manche leute so schildchen in den vorgarten "Dougherty for city court" (preisfrage: wie spricht man den namen aus?) oder "Return Nick DeMartino to city court". ja. und zwei leute ham sich halt son schild genommen und dass repainted and "no war on iraq" draufgschriem. so, ich entschuldige meine antwortlosigkeit auf diese frage und verschiebe auf morgen!
